Saunders/McKay \"Experiment\"
« on November 21, 2011, 01:33:05 pm by bigdonnybob »
Saunders/McKay \"Experiment\", yes, that's what it is.
Sean O'Driscol and Richard O'Kelly are on gardening leave, look how far-sighted John Ryan and the board were with this arrangement. In the light of the Leicester City experiment with Erikson that failed and cost a substantial amount of money in compensation to Hull City.
This money we have saved by not 'paying off' SOD and ROK is very far-sighted by the board, when the \"Experiment\" fails then Sean and Richard can step back into the breach and do what O'Driscol originally said \"maybe go down, regroup and then prosper\" (thats a paraphrase BTW)
Well Done John Ryan and the board, very forward thinking of you

Not Another one. Why not just give the 'experiment' a chance then??  How are u so certain it will fail?

Another one that starts another thread on a subject that is already running in numerous threads already, why not try posting here http://www.drfc-vsc.co.uk/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=999999&id=199795&Itemid=108 or any of the other dozen or so threads on that subject?

Is this sarcastic? 'step back into the breach' - as in take over the running of the club in League One once someone else has been given a chance to piss away our Championship status? Who in their right mind would do that after being fired?

really getting sick to the back teeth with this...

why wont people accept this is now! we are going ahead with this so called experiment... how better could SOD have done?? confidence was at an all time low now we have players who have bags of experience... and played in the top flight!

as a majority of people keep saying.. give this time before slating it... i am 100% behind this and i pretty sure it will work. We will stay up!

John ryan had to do something because we were going nowhere with SOD and the players in the squad at that time

It wont happen but nevertheless this one has tickled me.

Question is though, why haven`t we paid them off yet? Do we expect another club to take the pair on and pay off their contracts with us?
Every bit as unlikely i`d say...

It was very much tongue in cheek, Keyser_soze,

\"Who in their right mind would do that after being fired\"  - - - Nigel Pearson/Leicester City

As to your comment, ryanb66, I am going along with whatever MY football club do because I am a supporter and thats what \"supporters\" do, they support and like said this was posted tongue in cheek and should be taken in the light-hearted way it was intended

I'm with you all the way BigDonnybob but our numbers are few on this forum so you will have to get used to being called a moaner etc when you post your enlightening thoughts.

Was Pearson sacked by Leicester?. Thought he just moved on after being given permission to talk to Hull. Maybe i am wrong.

I don't think he was sacked - Hull initially refused Leicester permission to talk to him.

I think Wild Rover was alluding to the fact that Pearson left Leicester to go to Hull and now he`s left Hull to go back to Leicester, neither time was he sacked

Gracias - only skimmed it the first time of reading.

Is it just me though that thinks 'The Saunders McKay Experiment' sounds like a Jazz Fusion duo?

I think its obvious that we are trying to loan SOD and ROK out to a league 2/conference club for 20 bob a week with a view to getting them in the shop window for the january/february management merry go round.

ryanb66, I think we will both agree that this is a \"forum\", The Oxford English Dictionary, definition of the word, forum, is 'a meeting or medium where ideas AND views on a particular issue can be exchanged.' so in your own words \"get over it\".
