and I'm not talking about the players. Some so called fans sat near us were shouting 'We are going down, say we are going down', Booing when the players left the pitch, saying that the c*nts who wanted SOD out should be happy now, and towards the end everytime a Barnsley player got the ball shouted 'Hand Ball'. Why did they bother going? It was bad enough having to watch the game we did, they made the day even worse. We left with about 5 mins to go so we didn't have to hear the abuse they were going to shout at the end. Sorry but I don't get it.

That gets done quite a lot.. usually when the other team's fans appeal for a ridiculous handball decision. It's always done as a joke, and if you can't have a good joke after watching a shite display like that then what can you do?

Believe me, we laughed the first few times, but after nearly 10 minutes of it, it got boring to the point of annoying.

Did it really go on for that long? I think I was stood near the ones you're on about but I didn't realise they'd kept it up for that long...

Not sure, they were behind us. Only gave them cursory glances. Because even though the game was

we were trying to watch it.

Was gonna start a thread myself about this, it was disgraceful. They were sat the very row behind me. Pretty much everything they said or did was ridiculously annoying.

I just hope I don't accidentally sit in front of them again.

Did they or did they not deserve it ??!! donny fans have been patient over the years but this game was an ebarassment and they deserved all the abuse they got yesterday

They certainly did deserve it they did not put any effort in (bar one or 2 who didnt actually get abuse) and did not seem prepared by a clueless manager

I'm sorry I disagree, everyone has a bad day at work at times, it doesn't deserve abuse (and given the wholesale booing at half time I don't see how you can differentiate which players were getting or not getting abuse)

I think the bigger question is why 8-9 out of the starting 11 had a bad, in fact shocking, day at the same time

The players dont often get a boo and i have never done it in my life, until yesterday when it a local derby and only 2 or 3 of them wanted anything to do with the game they deserved booing and the fans that did it had a right too

Sorry guys and gals but I booed at half time. Absolutely cheesed off by the gutless display and I was in no doubt that I wanted to show my displeasure in the hope that the players would know that performance was unacceptable.

Obviously I didn't boo loud enough.
