How about:

Championship TV money - Cost of players > League One TV money

To be fair the club have said that halving the wage bill is a long term strategy, not an immediate fix.

Perhaps these additions are still being subsidised by the 'loan star' fund that was needed to bring in urgently required reinforcements to the squad.

Hence I doubt there has been any addition to the wage bill. The new additions are all being financed by the loan star donations for fans.

Family club.

The \"loan Star\" fund wasn't the best thought out idea the club/vsc have ever had was it?

In theory I suppose the heart was in the right place. It's the way things have gone since then that have discredited it all really.

Like the fact that soon after we made a decision that would presumably cost a seven figure sum (if we settled it) and went on to add approximately £20,000 per week (and rising) to the wage bill.

Either they received some amazing donations to still be using it all now, or the whole concept was laid out under entirely false pretences, in which case where did the money go and why?
