I think in SOD's system he seemed to fit in, in this one he's clearly out of his depth.  He can't pass, won't tackle and is too lightweight to win a 50/50 ball.  Watching the opposition midfield move the ball around him is frustrating to say the least.  So, yes, Lewis Guy is about right.  For Guy's falling over, substitute Gillett's running around second best in a flustered and ineffective state for 90 minutes.  Gillett's lack of presence in midfield is THE biggest reason why we are where we are in my book.

PS The above said, I hope he pulls out all the stops against his old team, feels he has a point to make and plays a blinder.  But on the evidence of his performances this season, this surely has to be his Last Chance Saloon.  We need some bite and channelled energy in midfield - a Greeny or a Snods Jr - and Gillett is a long way from \"it\".

Tbf I've never moaned when we've signed anyone. I can only judge him on his performances..
