Tonight's game.

Excellent performance, every one of them played out of their skin. A mistake by oster cost us. With a goal scorer we would have scored 4 or 5.
Browny did superb when came on, piquionne also changed completely once browny came on. Special mention for Robert, absolutely class tonight.

Sounded on player like a good performance but NOT good enough. Chances like that can't go begging if we were to have any chance of survival.
As for Oster , the less said the better..................:(

We were good but not amazing against a very average Palace side who had nothing to play for.I came away really disappointed, not with the effort but its another game we should have won.

Your right about the missed chances, but its not just tonight though is it? Brown has to be given a run of games, whether its instead of Piq or dropping Diouf back into midfield.

Believe me the Palace fans were there hoping to secure a P/Off position if not their players. Brighton have left them in their wake and believe me that hurts them..........hence 13,000 home fans. :saywhat:

In fairness to Jon Oster he had a good game apart from the error that led to the Palace goal. It seems that any mistakes we make are punished as was the case on Saturday with Habib Beye who played well apart from the one error. Add to the fact the club no longer have a striker good enough at this level and it all adds up to more points dropped. No manager can ask for anymore than the team gave last night but the players at the clubs disposal are not capable of turning the chances and possession into goals and to that end it's looking grim now.

Oster had a good game, dictated the play, last 2 games he's played well. He made a mistake, but every player will during a game. We couldn't have done much more yesterday, hit post, balls flashing past the post, keeper tipping it over the bar.
Credit to Saunders as well for the subs, brown and Barnes effectively gave us 4-2-4 and we should have won it.
Very impressed with Robert.
Last 2 performances, much better than the previous 2, still have to win on Friday, and then it's down to a point..

I thought Piq should have scored when he hit the post first half, but was unlucky with the half-volley second half;

What Oster was trying to do when he got robbed only he knows. Didn't do much to get it back. The ball breaks kindly for Easter.
