Summer clear out
« on April 09, 2012, 10:44:48 am by RobbieDRFC »
So who needs to go in the Summer?

Lockwood
Oster
M Woods

If we were to stay up more would be added on the list, however i believe at the present the likes of Hayter and Martis will be at their level in League one.

I think Lockwood would be quite good in League One, as would Hird, Hayter, O'Connor and several others. However, I really doubt that any out-of-contract players will be retained, other than maybe young ones like Muzzy.

I agree, would be very interesting to see what sized squad we will be left with once WM's boys have gone.

Robert could be a big player if willing to play in league one.

Paul Goodwin tweeted yesterday that he thought Beye signed 18 month deal but now hearing was 6 with view to another 12 and that 'it needs clearing up'. Surely not the club being economical with the truth in public again?

i think locky would be good for us next season. but i think it will be a case of offering the players we have now reduced terms or look to replace them with cheaper lower league tallent.

i think players that will leave are the likes of martis who is a good player, but no doubt on high wages and unwilling to drop down to league 1!

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. This season everyone involved with the club have shown themselves to be complete amateurs. It's pretty damn embarrassing.

Beye, Diouf, Ilunga, Chimbonda, bagayoko, Bamogo, Robert, Piquionne will all go as they will not play in Lg.1, I suspect we may see Copps, O Connor, Hird, Bennet, Dumbaya go to other clubs, probably for small fees.  Keegan, Oster and Woods end of contracts. Plessis and Ikeme end of loans.

What is left and what we can afford now is a struggling team in Lg.1. Frightening prospect, I hope I am wrong.

I also predict that the comments will go a little something like this... "i cant believe donnyroversfc was right again! Ilunga had a storming match, MoM by far today".

and if we was to get rid of DS now, what kind of manager would want to take over, No players, No Money, Poor attendances. I can see next season been a massive struggle...
