Ultra prediction competition
« on July 08, 2012, 09:38:13 am by Bentley Bullet »

Starting this coming season, entrants predict on this forum whether Rovers will win, lose or draw their next game. No correct score required just the outcome. Those correct go through to predict the outcome of the next game, and those who were incorrect are eliminated. This continues until the last entrant standing is declared the winner.........Then it all starts again!

If enough posters are interested maybe an entrance fee (say a quid?) could be applied with a percentage going to the VSC after a cash prize for the winner is given.

Perhaps a VSC moderator could take up on the running of it?

How about 3 pound all season per person. 2 pound to the vsc and a pound to the winners pot

But 3 points for the correct score
1 point for the correct result
And maybe a bonus point if you get the attendance within 100 right

This is something that has been discussed, if we could get enough people I would rather the winner gets a free Season Ticket. Perhaps the full League one fixture every week?

Great idea this is, sounds like a good initiative.  I also think a season long game would be best, people would lose interest in a weekly one.

I like the Ultimate idea. Then people can join in thru the season and still have a chance.

I like the Ultimate idea. Then people can join in thru the season and still have a chance.

It would also be much less complicated to run. it would probably be only a matter of a month or so that each competition runs, meaning possibly more revenue for the VSC.

It would also ultimately be a reight laugh seeing how the pessimists among us get on!
