With the departure of Erik Huseklepp Portsmouth now only have four players on the books.

Sounds familiar. However, they do have a two league advantage to what we had.

Then again, that kit we played in for the first few home games of the "new era" ... I liked it! :P

They are still on trial. I can't understand Muzzy and Gillet still being there, the club is subject to a transfer embargo so nobody can be signed without special exemption.

Maybe no one else has taken an interest in them, in fact, out of all our released players, I don`t think any one of them so far have gone on to bigger and better things

Unfortunatly for them no one is interested in signing Tal Ben Haim or Dave Kitson, both on hefty wages and the former about as useful as a chocolate teapot!

Hasn't Gillet been released though, and therefore a free agent and not a transfer?

Yes but a transfer embargo also stops clubs signing players, whether transfers, free agents etc etc.
