Surely it can only be a win/win situation.
Barnsley pay a fee for his services and also pay his wages.
We get 8k a week off our wage bill which allows DS to bring in 3 new players.
We reach the play offs or get automatic promotion and Copps comes back.
Simple really.

Norfolk will you stop calling the experiment French! If you want to narrow it down to one country then Senegal is a better shout.
But Norfolk people weren't abusing the players of the experiment but the values it potentially could destroy, to compare that to Coppinger being loaned out to Barnsley is just clutching at straws and trying to cause a debate. There is no loyalty from anybody in Football but the fans, staff, players and Board Members all move on, and yes even John Ryan will step down eventually. I never understood the abuse Macca got after he jumped ship and it will hurt me if the same happens to Copps.
As for the move I want to see him leave, its best for both parties, this season is his last season to prove to himself and others that he can come back from the worst season stronger and I hope it all goes well.
Tbf a loan was always going to work because no club was ever going to offer to buy him for more than 100k, we only value him so much because he has been here for so long but the bid Ipswich offered was about right but that was after a good season when we were in the Championship.
