Preston scorer tonight

Jack King.

Please, please, please Lord, please little gentle Baby Jesus let him get sent off. I could write the headline myself.

On a similar note, listening to the commentary of the Wensdeh-Huddersfield match last week. Commentator noted how someone had played a pass on the wrong side of a Huddersfield player.

His exact words were, "He's slipped that one inside Jack Hunt."

Say it quickly.

Childish I know, but it's been a shit few days at work and I'm taking my pleasures where I can.

It makes even more sense if you're a Rastafarian.

I will let Jack know next time I see him. Roll out all the jokes with King as a surname.

"Wayne Kerr shoots after some good ball playing"

I once went to a Pool presentation night in the Comrades on Bennethorpe. A player for the team that had won most of the trophies that season was called Richard Soul. When announcing his name the guy on the mike shouted out R. Soul. The more he tried to rectify what he had said the funnier it sounded. To make matters worse for him, he was called out about three times.

FD.

I've driven past that very stadium a few times and chuckled to misen before my wife poked me in the ribs and told me to grow up.

If my German is correct, "Dorf" means "Village" doesn't it? Only, I've known some pretty w**k dorfs in my time, growing up in Denaby and all that.

I have worked with a Chris Peacock and a Lou Rowles. My brother in law swears he went to school with a Theresa Green.

In the pub once a local character who was in the bar rang up on his mobile and asked the barmaid if Mike Hunt was in the pub.

Him and his mates looked on as the barmaid enquired "has anybody seen Mike Hunt?"

Once nearly got into trouble at work when I was visited by two reps from the same company at the same time.

The first said "Hi - I'm Wayne Leoman"

I shook his hand narrowly avoiding a giggle

His mate held out his hand and said "Jollyon Hard"

That did it - I laughed!

Well the my colleague in the next office was pretty good at wind-ups and I thought this was one of his better ones.

Luckily, I stopped myself from asking Jollyon if I could call him "Jolly" and instead excused myself and went to see my mate.  I congratulated him on the brilliant wind-up and asked him who they really were.

"REAL WORLD, PETE!" he said.  "Wayne Leoman and Jollyon Hard - its not a wind up!"

They "Wünschen Sie ein güten Fahrt" at every service station

A village near where I live is called Langenhard

There's also a 'dorf' in Austria where they're sick of the roadsign getting stolen. I'm over there a bit with work and its definitely on my to do list to visit the place sometime soon for a pic!
