Woods [martin] and bennett both shocking performance. Saunders clueless. Husband changed last home game and today he sticks with the starting 11,

I was really happy at the weekend when he brought in Hume, Harper, and Husband. Those three changes made a big difference when he brought them on against Stevenage and it clearly worked well at the weekend. I now Hume couldn't play tonight and got no qualms with Paynter coming back in (he was unlucky not to score when he hit the post) but I can only assume Quinn and Woods had injuries at the weekend as tonight it was back to the same tired play that wasn't working before the Orient game. I cannot remember the last time we played a match and didn't make a single substitution, it needed changing tonight and Saunders didn't do a thing. Even if you don't make subs, at least change the play when it clearly isn't working. But no. Big thumbs down from me for everyone involved tonight, from players through to the manager. Hope we get it sorted for Saturday.

We were absolutely shite tonight. Drawn into that hoofball that everyone says we play, which is just what Preston wanted. Bet Westley was rubbing his hands with glee. Husband and Harper have to start Saturday for me, it seems to me a recurring theme that we play well with those in the team and shite without.
Woods and Bennett look like they have one eye on the exit door to me.

We are just a terrible terrible team. The prospect of watching this shit all season is a chilling one. I can't make away games due to work but we have been as bad at home this season as any season I can remember since 97-98 this season.

Another poor team putting in more effort than us. I don't tend to go in for footballing cliches but "you have to earn the right to play" seems very apt for tonight. Absolutely no cohesion between any of the front 6 which in someways is understandable given the mad scramble that was the summer. You could have driven a bus through Syers and Woods tonight. However now I think we've got good players in, its time for the coaching staff to get them to gel as once again we've got no answer to an organised opposition.
