it's cheaper than that to get into some Championship grounds isn't it?!

Shame.  Was intending on going to that one but not at that price.

Not paying that price. It's a rip-off just like Leyton Orient is this Saturday.

Notts County is £24. A bargain compared to the Monkey-Hangers!

A friend of mine bought a multi-game ticket for three home games at Aston Villa at a cost of £24. I know these clubs have Sky money so are perhaps more concerned about filling their grounds than making money from ticket sales, but that's a big difference. Clubs outside the Prem will need to be careful they're not pricing themselves out of business.

How can your decision on going or not be swayed by a fiver?

Seems a bit much for Hartlepool. I was expecting cheaper tickets this season but not so far.

£25 for a poor away end, poor ground and a below average team. good job im only 18 and can get my hartlepool ticket for £13 and notts county for £15, can see a few having to only go to one out of the two.

It's a great little old school away end. Lets get it packed and it will be a great atmosphere in there.

Interesting that the adult tickets are so expensive compared to their extremely low ST price ie £155.

I emailed Hartlepool today asking if they would have any tickets available for purchase on the day, see the reply below - I find it slightly odd that they are saying they won't know until the Monday prior to the fixture how many we have sold, given we aren't even releasing them for general sale until then!

Good afternoon,

We have sent Doncaster Rovers the full allocation of away tickets therefore you would need to purchase your tickets from them. If we have any tickets returned they will be put on the turnstile on the day of the game, and the price doesn’t increase on the day the price is £25 per adult and £13 per concession, (over 60yrs, under 19yrs and fulltime student) when purchasing a concession ticket proof of ID is required or the full price will be charged.

We will not know how many Doncaster Rovers have sold until the Monday prior to the fixture, therefore we are unable at this stage to advise you if there will be any available to purchase on the day.

Please contact Doncaster Rovers to purchase your ticket in advance and hopefully this will prevent disappointment. We hope the above information has been helpful.

Kind regards
For and on behalf of
Hartlepool United FC
