The Beeb!

This, copied from the Beeb's Sport online report. Couldn't have got it more wrong if they'd tried.

Iain Hume bagged an injury-time winner as Doncaster inflicted a second straight defeat on previously unbeaten Tranmere in League One.

Billy Paynter had put the home side ahead shortly after the break when he took the ball down and poked into the far corner.

Jake Cassidy looked to have secured a point for Rovers three minutes from time when he fired in a low shot.

But Hume sent the hosts into sixth place with his late close-range strike.

MarkB. Technically, yes B is correct. I suppose I should have stated..."Copied this error strewn piece from the Beeb's online report".

Apologies for my inadequecies in the report. Think I could get a job as a Sports Journo with the Beeb?  ;)

Do you really think the BBC website had a journalist at the game? The BBC website reports for the Football League and below are normally obtained from the Press Association, who provide the stats and live text updates.

You would have thought they'd just ask Radio Sheffield for the report, seeing as though they were there?  :suicide:

Even if you're not there, it takes a special kind of idiocy/laziness/both to get the home and away teams mixed up.

The Sky reports are always much better anyway, plus they have all the highlights from our games on their website which the Beeb now don't for some reason.
