Kit for Saturday?

What will we be wearing tomorrow?  Our "home" kit black shorts would clash, and would our "second" strip white shirt clash with their stripes?  OK for me there's no real clash at all, but I reckon this could see the "third" kit with the green shirts.

I'm all for the green, harking back to the early 80's under King Billy, where I had one of the "Hibernian" style away tops...

The blue kit from last season is this year's third kit, not the green one seen in the friendlies.

I imagine we'll just wear the home shirts with either red or white shorts.

I must admit it annoys me when we unnecessarily wear our away kit (ie Hartlepool). It's a pet hate of mine. I love the hoops, so hopefully we'll wear them on Saturday and not last season's away kit. But obviously we can't wear the white kit so we'll probably have the red and white.

I tend to agree MM.  The red and white hoops are unique in the top divisions (OK Middlesborough usually have a single white hoop on a red shirt, but not always) so in theory don't clash with anyone else's kit.  I asked the question as I assumed there will be a change.

At Hillsborough a few years ago (Elliot Ward's overhead kick goal game) we had the hoops with white shorts.   I'd be happy for that tomorrow, but happier with a decent result!

I'm the same Macho, I want to see us in the hoops every time but it's the commercial imperative that goes with marketing an away strip to increase revenues.  They wouldn't sell many if it only put in a handful of appearances in a season.
