Is that what I was arguing Coventry ? For what it's worth the Leeds bit of scum is recognised as having got off far too lightly by many on here.....nowt political about that just a daft judge and has no relevance to another case.

16 weeks seems a bit lenient when the chap who went for a swim during The Boat Race got 6 months.
One endangered his own life and potentially the lives of those in the boats - the other slapped a one person

He never endangered the lives of those in the boat, not even potentially!
What he did was spoil a boat race for people who seemingly have friends in high places.

Different magistrate, different town, trust you to put a political slant on it.........typical leftist daft thinking.

Wrong actually Hoola. The Boat Race protestor, who harmed no-one and put no-one in danger but himself went to Crown Court and was sentenced by a Circuit Judge.  he was given 6 months for "Causing a Public Nuisance."

By that standard, what jail sentence should Cameron, Osborne and Johnson have got when they were in the Bullingdon Club at Oxford, and used to smash up restaurants and generally act like Kitsons in public?

I once drop licked a litter bin attached to a lamp post in Leamington High Street whilst unfortunately somewhat under the influence. I confess. I must go down for 6 months minimum.

The bloody litter bin fought back by the way. It didn't move a muscle. But it put me on the floor all of an 'eap.... Ian: were you there that night? JB was.

Hang on a minute, it's ok for people to suggest the Leeds fan got off lightly, but not for anyone to say the punishment for the boat race protester was too harsh? Flippin eck...

Have you seen the Ice Hockey fighting on Sky today. I think it was Cardiff and Coventry went hell for leather at the end of the game. One player was then invovled in a punch up with a fan when he came off the side of the pitch. All that happened to the fan was he was banned for the rest of the season.
