Been to Gainsborough a few times this year when rovers have been away - sort of the highest level of football i feel i can go and watch without being disloyal and i live as close to Gainsborough as Donny.

They play a decent style although the pace is slower, partly i think due to the quality of the playing surface and partly the quality of the players although they have a couple of rovers old boys playing for them - Jan Budtz in goal and Craig Nelthorpe on the wing.

11 quid in (pay on th gate), crowds of about 500 and a big tray of cheesy chips for another 2 notes. Back to the days where you are right on top of the pitch and you just know that the players can hear every single bit of banter from the crowd  ;) Recommend it for anyone harking back to our conference days

Played last night for Trinity.

I think they won 5-0 at home (I only saw the latest score), so a clean sheet for starters.
