Been to Gainsborough a few times this year when rovers have been away - sort of the highest level of football i feel i can go and watch without being disloyal and i live as close to Gainsborough as Donny.
They play a decent style although the pace is slower, partly i think due to the quality of the playing surface and partly the quality of the players although they have a couple of rovers old boys playing for them - Jan Budtz in goal and Craig Nelthorpe on the wing.
11 quid in (pay on th gate), crowds of about 500 and a big tray of cheesy chips for another 2 notes. Back to the days where you are right on top of the pitch and you just know that the players can hear every single bit of banter from the crowd
Recommend it for anyone harking back to our conference days

Played last night for Trinity.
I think they won 5-0 at home (I only saw the latest score), so a clean sheet for starters.
