This is a FREE event open for anyone aged 16+.

Sport Makers is a programme to make it easy for you to make sport happen near you - from helping out with local sports clubs to setting up sport in your local community like fun runs or five-a-side football.

Whether it’s planning the route, finding the pitch or encouraging people to take part – sport doesn't just happen, it needs people to make it happen. Become one of 40,000 Sport Makers aged 16+ and you’ll not only get the skills, knowledge and opportunities you need to get more people playing sport, you’ll become part of the official London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic legacy.

    Meet and learn from a top-class facilitator
    Join in with others who also want to make sport happen in their area
    Learn what you can do to get going as Sport Maker
