Team v Bournemouth

Despite our poor one mid week we're still well up there in 6th position with that game still in hand, still a positive I'd say but we have to win this with two aways to follow (though that probably helps us out).

I'd go with this line up;

Woods
Quinn Jones (Martis if still out) Spurr Husband
Cotterill Harper Clingan Blake
Hume Brown

I thought Blake did well the other night and I think at home we need better attacking options.  Great news Cotterill is fit that's huge for us.  We could even go with Woods and Clingan in the middle that would be strong for this level but perhaps not good enough in the tackle.....  I prefer Griffin to Quinn but expect Saunders will go with Quinn.

I'd put Syers back in the middle, offers nothing out wide. Would like to see Clingan given a start but can't see DS dropping Keegan and Harper.

Woods
Griffin Jones Spurr Husband
Cotterill Syers Clingan Woods
Hume Brown

syers has been disappointing last few games, but not half as bad as woods has been.

If Saunders went for a 4-3-3 would maybe make Woods work extra harder with one less midfielder and put the pressure on

I'd go;

                            Woods

 Griffin      Martis      Jones (if fit)    Spurr

Cotterill     Harper    Clingan        Husband

                    Hume     Brown

If Cotterill and Jones fit that would be the team I would pick.
I don't like picking on players but how anybody can pick Syers is beyond belief he is the worst signing This season. If people can pick on Martin Woods, who I believe is nowhere near the player he was, yet believe Syers is good then they must be watching different players. Last of my picking on individual players.

How you can call syers the worst player we signed is an ott statement because if anything i would have said hes been one of our better players in games this season and never gives up so i dont understand your view

I'd have thought we might need the extra body in midfield against this lot, so:

G Woods
Griffin Jones Spurr Husband
Clingan Keegan Syers
Cotterill Brown Hume

I reckon if Saunders continues with Woods on the left we may gradually start to see his old self return. Would like to see Clingan given a go, maybe instead of Harper as Keegan looks to be bring more to the table at the moment. Not sure i'd change anything else depending on availability.

I'm undecided on who should play, but as long as they do play with a bit of passion or hunger I'm satisfied...

It's not about 'picking' on individual players. It's about having am opinion. In MY OPINION Woods is not good enough and neither is Syers. But as we probably don't have anyone else, I suspect they will both be playing.
I hope Jones is fit as we looked dodgy in the air Tuesday night. 2 'goals' forms headers. Ok, one was disallowed for offside, but you get my drift.

Syers had a shocker on tuesday, so dont expect him to start. Would be happy with something like: -

Woods

Quinn Jones Spurr Husband

Cotterill Harper Clingan Woods

Hume Brown

Although i think Martin Woods looks like a prancing pony at times, he is without doubt a much more skillful player than Syers. If only he would not try the fancy dan thinks as often as he does!!

I'm confident we'll see a performance today.  As for Syers I think he's had some unfair criticsm, played very well in the centre and fair play to him for playing out of position which isn't easy.  He deserves praise for giving it a go....

In all fairness - and I agree he was b*llocks by the way - he's never been a winger and he made that more than clear Tuesday.
