Especially pleased for Woods, he's come in for some stick this season, some of it justified, but I'm glad he's improving. Seems putting him out on the left has given him a bit more confidence.

Kin hell, I hope the Brentford team bus has got decent  suspension struts. Looks like it needs them.

Don't think any of the criticism has been justified tbh, just some folk don't get that a player is doing what his manager tells him to do, so get annoyed that he's not doing what THEY tell him to do. Cos they know better of course.

Agree with him being pushed forward in his more natural position though, but he was needed elsewhere in earlier games and was the best we had for that job, IMO.

I said this only a few weeks ago when woodsy was getting slated, he's still finding his feet after the injury lay off of the last 2 years! I don't see how people can expect him to perform at the level he was without it taking time!

Anybody that has ever suffered a serious injury/illness whether it be in sport or another profession will know how hard it is

Really pleased for woodsy! Thought he was very good on Tuesday always finding space and wanting the ball, don't remember him losing it either

I've got no problem with Martin Woods in a wide position, but if he plays in a central midfield role he slows the game down too much.
