Well I thought the subtle changes were that we were more fluid, less rigid and attacked with a bit more freedom, whilst still keeping the emphasis on a rock solid defence

[quote , I believe, have benefited from the fitness regime introduced by Mal Purchase. He's gone to Wolves with Dean and I hope Flynn's next "subtle change" is a fitness coach to match that.

Surely it shouldn't be that difficult to continue with the same fitness regime even though the fitness coach has gone.

'Brian Flynn's Subtle Changes' would make a great name for a jazz fusion combo though.

It also sounds good to the tune of barmy army

Has to be sung at Bury! Would surely be the first ever footy chant sung with the word "subtle" in it.

Or how about:
"Su-su-su-subtle changes!
Brians Flynns army, red and white army!
Su-su-su-subtle changes!..."
To the Bowie tune of course  :woohoo:

I know the new fitness coach and he has been there all the way through the Saunders tenure. He is very good then again we were only a Sunday league team when we had him. Although he was at Sheff U under Gary Speed.
