Striker replacement if Hume, Paynter or Syers not fit
« on February 18, 2013, 11:45:35 am by donnygeoff »
I thought Mr Flynn had said they would be getting a loan if Hume, Paynter or Syers not fit.  Does this mean one of more of these are fit.  If not i think we are in trouble tonight.  Very disappointed if that is the case. Great chance to go top.. :(

Might be seeing Ball and Blake out, never know.

It was hinted at for sure. Maybe Humey might spring a surprise and be fit, but Paynter looked particularly out of shape last week and Sinclair... well... Sinclair.

I would go with Paynter and Coppinger behind him like against MK Dons and throw Ball on if its going wrong... not Sinclair. If Hume is fit, then 3up top with Coppinger and Hume buzzing round Paynter.

Syers and Hume definitely out. It's been on official site since Friday. I know we've tried to get Madine in on loan from Wendy's. disappointing no-one has come in.
Hume was only supposed to have strained a calf but he's been out for weeks. Seems strange

Issue is if we don't perform tonight the knives will be out and it will be like world war 3 on here

Well, that's to be understood.
How many times have we been told players are coming in either on loan or permanent signings? And here we are, with a great chance of getting promoted, and we're down to the bare bones. Not a striker or midfielder to speak of actually fit. Bloody frustrating.
Of course, if we win tonight.....................!!

And if we do win tonight does that mean everything in the garden will be rosy again and we won't bother bringing anyone in?

If we do not bring anyone in before tonight, I would like to see Sinclair start.  Everyone seems fairly pessimistic about our chances without a new loanee so why not give him the start he hasn't yet had with us.  If it's still 0-0 with 20 mins to go I would be a lot more optimistic  with someone else then coming on to nick a winner for us.

Well, BDB wasn't fit/ill Tuesday night and he didn't start with Sinclair so I doubt he will tonight. We'd have to change our game and get the ball on the floor though

Flynn: "Emile Sinclair hasn't had the impact here yet that we'd have hoped but I'm sure there is more to come from him."

From the BBC preview of tonight's game

I think he's going to throw him in from the start and let him settle.

And you believe everything you read on DROS?

Are they are devious enough for a well thought out misinformation campaign?  On the other hand mistakes can happen..................like copying and pasting last week's status?

I have no information, but I wouldn't count them out just based on DROS of a few days ago
