Iain Hume Appreciaton Thread
« on March 04, 2013, 07:26:24 pm by MachoMadness »
Just heard his interview on RS, what a trooper. Seemed incredibly harsh on his performance Saturday, complaining he wasn't fit, that his touch wasn't there and he was struggling. I thought he played really well myself, if that's him struggling I can't wait to see him 100% again! Great mentality to have though, no wonder he's always so committed, he sets himself such a high bar.

He isn't technically the best but his attitude and effort are brilliant. Wish Benno and Cotts would learn from him.

The guy reminds me off a wasp and scares defenders and goalkeepers shitless, I love his passion and commitment and anyone would think he'd been wearing the Rovers shirt for years.

Humey you're a class act matey keep up the good work.

Probably the same interview that's on RP, just had a listen and yeah he's a bit down on his performance on Saturday. He should watch the DVD cos I thought he was his usual self and showed no signs of a bad back! If he gets better though bring it on, great player and one I think will be here next season along with the manager whatever league we're in.

Was taken aback when I first met Humey after he made his debut at Yeovil, he took that defeat personally and said we need to be better on the road, so we went 12 unbeaten!

Can't ever remember seeing such commitment from a loan player, so much so that I forget it's meant to be just temporary and I'm not sure if it's just me, but he seems to put his head in where it hurts MORE after his horrific injury than he did before!  :saywhat:

He's like Paul Dickov. Says he's 5'7 on Wiki. Can't believe that.

Hes a pest on the field.  Must be a nightmare to play against.

Hope he is still here next season.  Agree about the vice captain point too

Sure is.  I've seen the scar on the side of Humey's head
