Any footage of Rovers fans at Crewe from their main stand?

I'd also like to see this. I haven't gone that mental at a Rovers goal in a long time, it'd be great to see some footage of all the fans dancing and partying in the walkways if there's any out there!

If you were there, you would know why. It felt special - thats all.  I imagine it looked special too.

Bet it looked mental from the pitch, it must really get the adrenaline going for the team.

Its the sort of scenes you just dont get at home games, and thats not slating the supporters at home or the ground, its just not the same.

If that game, the players, the attendance and everything about that 90 mins was replicated at the KM you just would not get the scenes of unbridled joy that was to behold at Gresty Road last Sat when Billy scored those two goals.

Its why we go and especially for me why i go to away games.

In recent years:

Chester - Conference play off semi final
Mansfield - 1st season back in League
Scunny - 1st season back in League
Leeds - 1-0 win

My faves anyway. Was working Saturday so can't comment on that :-)

Was saying with our kid after the match - that one went straight in to the Top 10 of away day celebrations.

My lungs are still aching after the screaming after that second goal. And I nearly ended up on the railway line, I ran down the front walkway that fast.

Grand.

Still not a patch on the top 2 mind.

It went off big time at Mansfield in the FA Cup too when we equalised in the last minute.

I also didn't get it.

Was great to watch from the back of the Main Stand opposite though; Paynter wheeling away to the corner celebrating, the players chasing after him, and then behind him much of the Rovers support charging along the front of the stand too. I did mention it on commentary at the time.

I didn't notice any cameras at all on the Main Stand side so sadly I doubt there is any footage.

i remember that LDV game
i was living in wigan then so foolishly walked to the ground in the rain which persisted down all match and we were in that shed at the away end when the second went in we all ran out and it was like a keystone cops as half the fans slipped on the wet grass and slid down the banking

Agree with you there. The away end at Stevenage was mental when Jones got the winner. I never went to Crewe so can't compare to Stevenage.

I managed to get to both.

For raw excitement I'd say that the last minute winner was marginally better for atmosphere. But only just !
