I've had a sneeking suspicion that both Spanish 'giants' (who we dub the best teams in the world) were gonna get slaughtered this week, and like RD I'm really pleased it has happened. I've been a big fan of the Bundesliga and watched the highlights all season. I think it is the best league in the world both on and off the pitch. When compared to the Bundesliga the English clubs have defended their high spending and financial mismanagement by pointing out that German clubs are rarely successful in Europe. But when was the last time two different English teams dismantled the Spanish giants like we have witnessed in the last two days? This may be BVB's last season with this famous group of players, but a Champions League Trophy will help them build a good team for next season.Just imagine the atmosphere inside Wembley in a BVB vs Bayern. The whole ground will shake, the atmosphere tonight looked and sounded amazing, and that was 15000 under capacity due to UEFA regulations of the ground being transformed from standing to seating, it looks more immense in the Bundesliga with a full house!
