Still the very best headline in WSC history. About 20 years back, they ran a piece about how Werder were struggling.

Headline

Bremen Nacked.

Just
Been a great week for the Bosch.

Lets hope we don't have a clean sweep with Uwe Rösler

Time for DRFC to stand up for the humble Tommy

Who do you think you are kidding Mr. Rosler?
If you think you'll win the league,
We are the boys who will stop your little game.
We are the boys who will make you think again.
'Cus who do you think you are kidding Mr. Rosler?
If you think Rovers are done?

Brian Flynn goes out to win,
Although he's 3 foot 1,
And he comes home each evening,
And pesters Mrs Flynn with his veiny gun.

So, who do you think you are kidding Mr. Rosler?
If you think Rovers are done?

Superb, though maybe the last verse could be:

Brian Flyn goes out to win although he's 3 foot 1
But corporal Jones is 6 foot 8 and ready for a feyt

Funny we are still centred on endossing our rôle of 'superiority' in WW2 when the German issues come up . I hope it's just our British humour  and not a blind spot which prevents us from seeing what others are doing to make today's world a better place.

Just to Add on that english football is Now on a downward Road, the great Manchester United the pride Of them all are still trying to sell season tickets half way Throu the season.

Touts at United still had tickets left over for the recent man utd v villa game When a home win would give the mancs the title.

And shock horror, the same touts could not shift all Their tickets for the recent United v cit-eh game.

They seem to think that since most Of Uniteds games are NOT 15.00 kick offs on a saturday,Its bad for the touting bussiness.hence why United Cant sell all Their season tickets.

Also from the touts...' there is far more non british United fans at games These days'

One tout at the west ham v United game some weeks back shaking his head as all he could hear in the away end was Scandinavian reds.

I've had a sneeking suspicion that both Spanish 'giants' (who we dub the best teams in the world) were gonna get slaughtered this week, and like RD I'm really pleased it has happened. I've been a big fan of the Bundesliga and watched the highlights all season. I think it is the best league in the world both on and off the pitch. When compared to the Bundesliga the English clubs have defended their high spending and financial mismanagement by pointing out that German clubs are rarely successful in Europe. But when was the last time two different English teams dismantled the Spanish giants like we have witnessed in the last two days?

This may be BVB's last season with this famous group of players, but a Champions League Trophy will help them build a good team for next season.

Just imagine the atmosphere inside Wembley in a BVB vs Bayern. The whole ground will shake, the atmosphere tonight looked and sounded amazing, and that was 15000 under capacity due to UEFA regulations of the ground being transformed from standing to seating, it looks more immense in the Bundesliga with a full house!

Great post mate. I have been telling anyone that will listen to check out the highlights of the Bundesliga on Monday nights.
The football is brilliant and the fans are as entertaining as the actual game.
