Can some one explain about new shirts...

I read that they Will or should be ready sometime
In july for sale in Club shop.

It allways Beats me why new Club strips on on sale
So late after the season ends and so close to new season starting.

How many fans go on holiday and would buy the new shirt before hand?

Rovers have just gone up as champs and for sure if
The new shirts were on sale in Club shop NOW,quite
A few would have Been sold via the FEAL GOOD FACTOR.

"Feal good factor" or not, it sometimes is not practically possible to produce the shirts etc. etc. in time. Sure it'd be nice, but sometimes it just isn't possible. They need to have all the right badging on etc. - don't forget this summer will see a change in sponsors for the Football League so buying one now with a big npower patch on the arm might be a bit silly.

The club does the best they can with these things.

I suppose the main reasoning behind this is that these things are planned months in advance when no-one really knows whether or not it will be a successful season. Had we not gone up then now wouldn't be the right time. This is also the same time when many are forking out for their season ticket, a new shirt on top of that is an added cost for those supporters who must buy the new shirt within days of it being made available.

I do recall the 2003 streetwise shirt went on sale before the end of the 2002/03 season and was an instant success. Whereas when the 2008/09 shirt was made available literally after the Play-Offs, it wasn't as successful.
