Have put the whole team on the transfer list and noticed this comment on the league 1 forum.

Richard Woods is getting his wish to go back to his home county and going back to some club in Yorkshire,so take your pick.

Would you like him here?

The Coventry fans i spoke to said he's nothing more than an average L1 defender. Should be looking at better.

Like Rob Jones then?

You know a lot of fans from different clubs who all appear to have inside knowledge of the workings of those clubs don't you. Do you work for the FA? Or are you all working on the same farm clearing up the bulls**t?

and that the club are taking the city council to court!!!

What a mess.

I love beating CIty but this is destroying the club, something that pains me to see.  What the hell do SISU stand to gain??? Fit and proper my arse

What a bloody mess , it just needs some sane people to get around the table and sort it out. It's a ridiculous carry on.

He's on a football forum, which myself and a few other posters on here are on and he asked in there.

So he has not spoken to anyone (that you know of) he has just taken what he wanted from a forum. A bit like judging Billy Kee to be the best striker in England from 5 second clips on the FL show,

Didn't Coventry nick a player off us in our dying days in the FL pre-Conf. and paid Rovers either next to nothing or zilch? If so, it could  be karma!

Robert Betts was the player you're thinking of, they did indeed.

I don't think Murphy is the player he was a few years ago, and Moussa is one of those players who shines in League One but isn't quite Championship standard.

Cyrus Christie, the lad who scored against us at the Ricoh is the one I'd be after. Can play full-back, wing-back and centre-back and has plenty of pace. John Fleck also had that bit of quality on the ball that would be useful in the Championship, even if he's rather lacking in speed.

I hear that they're likely to be playing at St Andrews or Bescot next season, which will devastate their fanbase.

Is Coventry following in the footsteps of Pompey, a big club going down the plug hole?

Leon Clarke is a donkey, we don't need him.

Mcsheffrey is a half decent player, he would be a good addition to our team as a squad player.

Fleck impressed me when we went down there - very tidy player and all their good work went through him until he came off!

Murphy would be stronger than both Woods and Sulli and is used to being on the end of the odd drubbing from his time at Scunny and Coventry - it doesn't seem to affect his confidence.

As mentioned by TRB - Christie looked good too!

If we could get those three - I'd be very impressed.

Problem is we missed out on Murphy before because we couldn't afford his wages! Out of the three I would imagine (although I don't know) that Christie would be the cheaper option wage-wise, Murphy and Fleck are slightly more well known players so one assumes they'll be on a decent wage!
