Anyone else think this is probably the best team to be playing on the first game of the season? Just seen that Paul Ince wanted to resign but was rejected by the club, can really see them struggling this year!

Ah, he OFFERED to resign, not said "I resign". Small turmoil there, probably transfer policy orientated.

I still see it as he wants to leave, as seen as his son Tom is moving to Cardiff

It seems he's OFFERED to resign,not resigned.I think there is a difference.Has he done it because he feels he's not done a good enough job?or has he had his head turned?15th is not a bad finish for a club of pool's size,but with their recent good seasons/Premiership and big parachute payments I suppose most would expect atleast a top 8.Also I would guess they was probably much higher in the league when ince took over in Feb?I was worrying they could be a banana skin to start the season with,but now agree,it could be the best time to play them.
