Of course he did, then signed for the team with the lowest wage budget on the planet.

Possibly. Maybe he just wants first team action guaranteed,  rather than go into the development squad and win his place through being brilliant every week.

BTW, I see Bayo left Northampton and signed for Gillingham over the weekend.  He's getting closer to London, at least.....

See the Dingles have signed Lewin Nyatanga.
An associate with Welsh connections once described him to me as, and I quote, 'several shades of useless with the positional sense of a concussed lemming'.

That's possibly the finest description of a footballer I have ever read, bobbymax.  I think you should add that onto his Wiki page.

Taken

He has all the guile and panache of an arthritic ridden zebra, hoofs tied with elastic that had been thrown into a enclosure with one exit and his only way out was through eleven, sex starved, ketamine induced giant panda's who would gladly f**k anything to death as long as it was black and white.

Bit harsh, On Tomas Brolin but i think that description (as well as i could remember it from a magazine in the 90's) is the best description i had ever read.

On a side note: What was the name of that footy magazine from the 90's that was basically funny stories and piss taking? I remember reading an interview with Mickey Thomas and literally hyperventilating with laughter while reading it.

It might still exist today, probably should do as well

The one i was thinking of, didnt last long in its originl guise. It was purely satire that poked fun from front to back. WSC and 90 minutes were and probably still are largely more serious publications.

I just did a search on google but came up blank, i remember the front covers, just not the title. Think the magazine ruffled a few established feathers and was kicked into touch by the law men as it victicously quoted people with absurd revelations. I remeber asking the newsagent for it at the time and he said it had stopped going to press, i atleast had 3 copies, all long gone now though. The article was about Brolin's time at leeds so im guessing 1995/96?

Rob

Best description of a footballer (and most accurate) was a quote on BladesMad.

"Nyron Nosworthy is slower than erosion."
