SHOOT !!!!!!!

I was getting very frustrated last night at the amount of times we ran the ball to the edge of or just into the box and then look for a pass rather than just having a shot. If you don't shoot, you don't score and we had so many good shooting opportunities last night.
On a positive note, Duffy and Forrester looked class. Duffy should get a start next game for Copps and I'd like to see Forrester get 45 minutes.

Unfortunately Cotts didn't have his shooting boots on last night but it's got to be said his cross for Billy's header was a peach

The whole move for the goal was superb.

The move in the first few minutes that almost led to a goal was sublime I thought.

Duffy always seems really reluctant to have a go, always seems to want one touch too many. Not sure if it's because he's used to having a bit extra time when in League One or what.

Cotterills shooting has been awful all season.

Cotterill seems to lack confidence shooting.  I think because he hasn't scored for so long he's hitting it too hard and thus sending them over the bar.  Needs to calm his shooting down and place it a bit more, that's how he scored his goals last year.

The fact that you have drawn this conclusion from just 5 games is bizarre but at least shows that he is trying his luck.

Duffy was poor against Leeds, he will be brilliant or awful, he looks good, means well, but I personally don't think that he is good enough for this league. Only time will tell and I hope that I'm eating my own words at the end of the season.
Why has PD only given him cameo roles since we signed him?
He impressed me from the games so far and I was disappointed about him being substituted or not starting until the Leeds game, he has a flair and talent (in a lower league) and he will be mediocre in the championship.

I was impressed with him against Blackpool but i tend to agree re the leeds game, he tried a lot of tricks & the few that came off caught the eye but a lot didn`t and often there was an easy ball on.

A good signing and will, i hope, improve as the season develops.

He reminds me of Coppinger when he first arrived, in the sense that he's trying too hard to impress. He seems to be choosing anything rather than the easy option, often resulting in losing possession.
