that has seen an big increase in players conning refs by just running in front of the player with the ball then stopping dead and falling over.

What the heck is the player with the ball supposed to do

The one that gets me is where a player runs into a defender who has remained stationary. TV pundits seem to see it as a stonewall free-kick or pen. When did players have to start getting out of the way when defending!

There was the one yesterday when someone ran into Cotterill and went down and won the free kick

 same sort of difference really, if you are defending its up to the attacker to get round you if you want to stand still thats your perogative
