I have always thought that the most amazing run was English clubs total domination of the European Cup in the 1980s seemingly at a time (so we are told by cretins like Tim Lovejoy and 'Spoony') that football in this country was 'on its knees'.

English clubs won the European Cup for SIX consecutive seasons: 1977 (Liverpool), 1978 (Liverpool), 1979 (Forest), 1980 (Forest), 1981 (Liverpool) and 1982 (Villa). To add to this Liverpool won in 1984 and finished runners up in 1985.

Glad all this money from Sky has improved the crap performance by English clubs in Europe during the 1980s.

Nice one....

Lovejoy? Is that the vacuous t**t who introduced the ultimate in bell-endedness to football: bouncing up and down clapping your hands above your head when your team scores, like a penguin doing Zumba?

God f***ing help us.
