Chris Brown

The bloke chases every ball, closes down defenders forcing them to make hasty passes that often go astray as a result. He shields the ball like an Emperor Penguin guarding its egg. He has excellent close control for a 'big man' & his flick on headers are crying out for his strike partner to run onto.

In a nutshell, he plays like a supporter who has just won 'The Golden Ticket' which entitles him to play just one game for the Rovers! (Match fitness comes with the prize!).

Agree with the sentiments, but the rhyme and metre are ba-baa. I'm not chanting THAT.

He's evolved over the years. Was more of a ball player in his earlier days and you wouldn't see him as a target man. Thankfully on his return he rolled his sleeves up and got stuck in for the sake of the team and has turned in to a Kevin Davies type. Last season and in to this, his work rate is awesome. Definitely on Duracel.

For me he is probably the only player like it in the country. For his size and build you wouldn't expect him to have such expert close control with the ball and the speed he has. with the exception of QPR and Reading we have played against some of the supposedly best defences in this division and he has terrorised every single one of them.

Long may it continue , what a cracking player to watch he lacks nothing.

Shame his brace vs Charlton didn't count officially.  Would be more representative of his contributions this season.
