I used to be responsible for.putting up the big JR shirt every game and when away fans were moved into the east it became slightky awkward, uunfortunately this year I don't have the tim and it can only be displayed when away fans aren't in the East Stand.

So when the away fans are in the East why can't it be put up in the North Stand?

We could also do simple flags or bannes denoting where folk live. Sheffield Rover, Lincoln Hoops, Scarboro' viklng etc. Will look good on front fence or back wall.

Those of you with some ideas why not make one and bring it down?

i have my own flag that i used to take to away games nothing too big just a simple 10x6ft (i think) england flag with doncaster rovers and my name on. however i kept getting turned away after a while due to no fire safety certificate with it, would this be a problem at keepmoat? was made by a proper company but i never received a certificate or it was never given to me by my cousin who took the delivery of it.

i have a home made flag same size i would gladly bring them to home matches to fill a bit of space and liven place up a bit.

I don't think there's any problems with that at the keepmoat. Bring it down we need more of them.

John 6:13

Is that an appeal to Mr Ryan and the catering staff as its a reference to 12 loaves. Or is the passage you are after the, John 3:16 that seemed everywhere at the 94 World Cup?

could we not ask for designs, have a vote for the favourite design & get a quote for it then do donations to achieve the cost. sure we did that for the john ryan flag didnt we?

There's an interesting article here from Middlesbrough about their "Red Faction".

http://anthonyvickers.boroblogs.co.uk/2013/10/post-34.html

For those who attended or watched on the TV last Friday, they will have seen how they have organised themselves and won over the club after initially being seen as troublemakers.
They have a huge amount of banners all around the stadium, many of which seem quite strange to the uninformed but all generally relevant to Boro.

Because (with the exception of Rochdale) away fans have only been given the East Stand after filling up the North Stand.

Even when fans were just in the East last season it was murder putting it up in North due to location of netting, concourse entrances and the width of each seating section meaning it had to stretch over 2 which caused it to look bodged because of the stairway underneath. But as I say I don't have the time this season.

Yes which is the intention, but no point in doing that until the logistics are figured out.  As I said in my opening point, we will get to that soon.
