Teams worse than us
« on November 10, 2013, 09:03:20 am by southwestexile »
Before this season began I wrote an innocent post wondering whether there were enough teams worse than us over a season that we had a chance of staying up.  About 90% who responded leapt down my throat and usually mentioned playoffs somewhere along the line.  Now, apologies for being a pragmatist and a realist, but looking at the first few months of the league I feel reasonably secure that there are teams worse than us.  Yeovil will pick up a few points (probably including 6 against us), Wendies are awful despite the freak result against Reading and Barnsley will struggle too.  Other than that, I think the other teams will have a spell and accumulate points.  So I for one think well stay up this year.  The end.

Apart from Yeovil, I'm afraid I'm struggling to find any other teams worse than us on current form to be honest. Until yesterday, I would have confidently said Barnsley, but they were far better than us . Just watched the highlights again and we looked dreadful. We managed to make a Barnsley midfielder look like Messi.
We seem to be lacking all over the pitch, apart from having a quality keeper, and feel for Dickov now. Without some new blood in the squad he has a thankless task. And with yesterdays much publicised and badly timed publicity, where are the funds going to come from?.
