KEEP CALM AND CONTINUE TO SUPPORT ROVERS
« on November 12, 2013, 04:15:44 pm by normal rules »
Remember that individuals will come and go. Players, Managers, even Chairmen. The Football Club that is Doncaster Rovers has a long and varied history, and will continue to do so, but only with our support.

Don't get caught up in the politics. It achieves nothing and isn't worth it.

What matters next is getting a result on Fri night.

Friday night matters not a jot. Week on Friday does though.

Spot on Normal rules, the big thing is that supporters will ALWAYS be that. In truth, since football became the magnate it has for business men, the idea that supporters control a club has gone.

Usually things like this are done behind closed doors and then released in a press  handout or conference. In the end those who have put in money want the opportunity to get it back, which is not always possible.

In our case the dirty washing has been done in public and there is a good chance that those who want their money back will get it.

The true Rovers supporter will always be a Rovers supporter, provided that the owners have money to back themselves, unlike Richardson, who was a crook before and after.

Doncaster Rovers, as an entity is in a far stronger position than it was in those days.

As you say, people come and go, the club remains.

Well said normal rules. We have a long way to go before we reach the doldrums of the Richardson era. Hopefully we never get to that point again. But even if we do, i will still be behind the lads.

It's down to the owners to sort out the club, in fighting in the boardroom is not good for the club. It as not been good since the proposed takeover was announced.

The manager must be allowed to bring a striker and centre half before the 22nd, which should be in time to integrate with the squad.

Then hopefully we should start getting positive results again, the supporters should ensure we support the team to achieve the right result and hopefully the performance against Yeovil.
