Peterborough's away end has finally been demolished this week, shame that.

Posh had to change - they have had too many seasons in the championship recently where there is a limited time to replace terracing with seats.  That time has expired for Posh - should they get promoted again there is no standing.

Shame they couldn't put 'safe standing' seats in instead of having an 'all seated ' area . It will come in eventually so why not be ahead of the game ?

They are ahead of the game. Their CEO, Bob Symms, is a very loud and proud supporter of 'safe standing' who's been onboard with the FSF for the last few years and has actively participated in everything we've done.

Not only that but Peterborough Council are onboard too. They have accepted a planning application that includes standing.

Is this standing included in the "away" end, or just in the home end when that is replaced?

It's both ends. The current away end will be the new home end and vice versa.

Of course it will, it's only a matter of time. Bristol City have some rail seats going in right now, but they'll be sectioned off for football games but opened up for rugby games. Celtic have a planning application in process for their current stadium so it's going to happen there very soon. It's not legislation in Scotland (all seater stadiums) so expect it be like a pack of cards, once one does it everybody will follow.
