Paul Dickov - Genuine Concern
« on December 02, 2013, 03:22:26 pm by jonnydog »
Is he ok?

It seems every time he gives an interview, no matter if it's on Sky, FLS or anywhere else he seems to be looking higher and higher up at the interviewer... Is he shrinking??

I know he's only 5ft 6, but following QPR game he must've been interviewed by Mick Fleetwood!!

Maybe Flynny keeps adding to the camera tripod to make him look smaller.

I think the club should buy him a set of steps so he can look the interviewer directly in the eye and not have to crane his neck upwards to see them over the camera.

Oh dear

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/9059627/

Paul Dickov strikes me as far too intelligent to risk a 'crash and burn' scenario at the 'no longer Massive'.
It could wreck his young and promising career before it really gets started..........I hope I'm right.

I hope this isn't another Sheff Utd and SOD scenario. That was the start of our downfall from the Championship.

Leicester connection there isn't there?  Interesting, but I'd be surprised.

I've always had te impression that managers have struggled to get on with Mandaric. Also have they got the money to offer him (unsure of his contract ?) or the future ?

No worries, we have Hoola to take over anyway if he does go. It's no coincidence our form has picked up since Hools gave him the benefit of his knowledge.

How much does Paul have to spend in the transfer window? I wonder if this might be bargaining it up a little?

I will have a chat with him Wilts and yes we haven't lost since I left hospital incidentally.

Wilts,

That's not his style so I doubt PD is bargaining. At no point has he, in public at least, used the size of his budget to excuse any poor results. If it was Dean Saunders I would agree with you.

This is a guy who banged on about loyalty in pre-season. Can't see him going anywhere, especially not to a club with the level of debt as Wednesdays.

The expectation of success for such a 'massive' club means the manager's job is impossible to carry out, in the short time their fans allow them to progress. It's never long before they are revolting, if success isn't instant.

In no time at all they'd want Dickov castrating, if they didn't get instant success.

Any influence you can bring to bear will be appreciated Hoola
