right... this is one of those "wish i could turn back the clock" moments... David Syers played very well in our promotion season, and now has found his feet in the division below.... (3rd Tier)
and will be a driving force in Scunthorpe`s very probable promotion this term.....

we are now saddled with better quality players who are just not strong enough to steer us to survival this term......... i beleive that if you want to STAY in a division for whatever reason, you have to spend bigger than those around you, ....sorta like a gamble!
however if you feel the outlay will cause financial problems, you stick with your squad and hope they come good,
this would remove over expectation, and keep low paid but valuable players for the struggles to come...

i am aware that this is exceptionally negative, but a good "YO YO" club doesn`t need to spend big to stay , when all the indications are that relegation looms....

David Syers will no doubt face us next season, with something to prove methinks...

not a rant :)

No, Syers has found his feet TWO leagues below. Scunny are in the 4th tier. I, for one, hope to hell we don't play them next season lol

That to me, looks like you've answered your own question, and the reason why he's gone to Scunny
