I reckon Colin's post was tongue in cheek to give the Barnsley fans false hopes?

The lad's had Biblical injury problems. He deserves a break for sticking at it.

He showed enough when he was fit 4 years back to make it clear that he could be a decent Championship-level player. On his day, he waltzed through matches at this level.
I really like the lad and if he could get back to where he was 4 years back, he'd walk into your team. Or ours. Or most in the bottom half of this division. Good luck to him.

You have absolutely got to be kidding.
One of the most over-rated and under-achieving players to grace the Rovers team since our return the the Football League.
I was stunned when he re-appeared this season; I thought we (and he) had been put out of our misery when we'd released him.

I'm now cross with myself for breaking my golden rule of not criticising Rovers players in public. But for Martin Woods and his namesake Gary I make an exception.

Of course I wish him luck but thank heavens it's with Barnsley, not us.

Neil was f**king ace, though x

Joking aside. How much better is our starting 11 than theirs? Can't think of more than 1 or 2 that might get in our side.
Can I first thank everyone for responding to my questions? Cheers.

As for this quote (and one from another just below you), you seriously think you're a better side, man for man?

No worries at all with that. We're all biased.

But other than Billy Sharp I'm baffled as to who these other Donny laikers are that are better than ours. Seriously.

And don't quote Meite and Tamas who've been there two minutes. You've nowt to judge em on.

Martin Woods is gash in most BFC fans opinions, hence me coming on here to get some feedback. But in Danny we trust. He'll do well I reckon to get a game in this midfield. Hassell, Lawrence, Mellis, Frimpong, Cywka, McCourt, Dawson, Shea, Jennings. Other than Dawson and perhaps Hassell (through age), the rest would (in my BIASED opinion) walk into your side.

Remember, you have David Cotterill.

But (I didn't come for an argument) I wish you well tomorrow/today. And for the remainder of the season. I hope the pair of us and Wednesday are still here next season.

You Reds.

Me as well Bob. The benefits of a derby match against close neighbours rather than gloating about them languishing in a lower division go without saying for me.
Larger than average gate, less expense for travelling fans and no overnight stay and little cost for diesel for the away club.
It's a no brainier for me.

Unfortunately a certain Sheffield club take this sentiment and drop kick it right through the nearest window.
