Those that can't afford to buy them are obviously not thickies. However there are an awful lot of thickies out there that could afford to buy them but don't. They don't seem able to do basic maths to realise they are looking a gift horse in the mouth. When i bought mine, my neighbours looked at me gone out and assumed I had gone for the free option. A lot of these had gone for the free option when they could easily have afforded to buy them as I live in a very affluent area. It is even worth taking out a loan to buy them as the return on investment iks so phenomenally good and is guaranteed.

In these days of escalating electricity prices it amazes me that people who could afford  to don't. In the next breath they then moan about increasing electricity prices! The solution is simple. Buy solar panels if you've got an appropriate roof and your gas and electricity bills will be covered for the next 25 years. Because of the return I get on my solar panels I've got my gas, electricity, water and phone bill covered for 25 years from the date of installation.

Anyone who could afford it and doesn't take advantage deserves to be called a lot worse than a thickie.

Out of interest, where is this affluent area?

Mick appears to be ignoring my question, Google can't have come up with an afluent area yet!
