Ha ha!!

Didn't you notice? I'm posting much less these days. (That's true btw).

Your wallet could be a whole lot thinner though if you carry on bandying around allegations which are demonstrably untrue. If I were you, I'd go and blank those posts right now. Everybody on here knows about that man. We all know what he did. You don't need to plaster it here again and risk being sued into bankruptcy. No one disagrees with you. But you'll notice no one is jumping on a bandwagon to agree with you in writing either. Just think for a minute about why people are not doing that....

Cheers

It was back in October when Mr Milton told us he'd sold his shares

It was December when the star told us that SC had acquired a 37% stake in the club

It certainly looks like some one has been a tad economical with the truth!

It all goes to show, don't it Filo? When money and that fellow with the overseas accent are involved, any lie will do.

OK 1969. Fair enough. When the day dawns though, don't come crying on here. You won't get much sympathy.

It's pretty shameful how the local papers peddled the propaganda without a shred of evidence

It'd be nice to make a formal complaint to the Press Complaints Commission. Oh. Wait. Well. To someone then.  It wouldn't achieve anything concrete, but it might just nudge the papers in question towards asking a few ever so slightly more penetrating questions next time.

Sense check. Are you all talking about the takeover or Beresford? Sounds like you're on different pages.

Think you are right DBR however both subjects have Ben done to death now. The conclusion being as I see it that :-
1) The whole takeover thing was about bluff and most saw that it wasn't the way forward and so it has been proven.

2) Mr. Beresford acted not in the best interests of his clients but is not obliged to sell his shares.

Now about tomorrow's game and I'm trying not to be condescending can we talk about that and maybe put these sort of topics in the Off Topic sections ?

You're alleging that it started when you asked about the origin of his money?

Sort of , I was still surprised to see his name associated with the club having shares and thus possibly money in the future should the club gain Premier League status .

Mmmm. And that makes you all equally liable too 1969.

And Lifelong, Albie is quite right. It was all mouth and trousers, and, the fact they chose to say what they said and take the positions they took is conclusive evidence of their utterly feeble judgement (at least from any professional point of view). Their subsequent collective failure to deliver, and failure to ever mention why, points up their collective lack of probity, of communication with their most numerous stakeholders and the space it left for conspiracies to develop. Poor, poor management indeed. But then, you know all that already don't you Lifelong? You know it because you've been hanging on to their coat tails all the way through.

I'd give up if I were you. You have zero credibility on here. You don't win friends with wit or charm either. Tbh, you don't have a lot going for the agenda you try to peddle.

And here's me thinking we were mates.
Don't you remember your 'friendly' reply (below) to my story about Ian Snodin getting booked at Sutton United?
At least I thought it was friendly...

Cracking story LS! I wasn't there, but that's Ian alright isn't it?! The most vicious wraith I've ever seen. Lol.

Another one who remembers comments from months previously. I see a trend developing here.
