JR GREAT IDEA
« on June 21, 2014, 12:20:00 pm by Upton Rover »
It's sad to here all the moaners on this forum, I am sure we must be the most moaning set of supporters in England. The crowd funding scheme is a master stroke played by JR and LT! it is a great way of attracting other investment without the need for a great stake in OUR club, only 5percent will be given away. I am sure they could have got other investors, but want to keep the club in local hands, and the rewards for investing are great. JR is mainly trying to attract a greater fan base, and it will work. It does not matter who's bums are on seats, let's just get them on, Stop ya moaning and start supporting our CLUB.

An example of a successful and ongoing crowdfunding project is Star Citizen, a combat simulator game for Microsoft Windows that's supposed to be released in late 2014.

Started in 2011, Star Citizen is the largest crowdfunded project ever and highest crowdfunded amount for a video game. The initial target fund amount was $500,000, but so far, more than $21 million has been raised, with $2,134,374 of that on Kickstarter.

Why do you see the comments as "moaning" why not try viewing them as "voicing concern" Personally I am really behind Tommo, a great move. If only he had teamed up with B&W. I would also welcome Ryan back if Bramall kept him in line with all the ducks so to speak.

I have a sneaky feeling that Tommo is not a puppet, yes man people seem to think he is and he could bring the better side of Ryan out, I hope everything works out or we may be in big trouble.

I will be very surprised if that £2m target is not reached because if it doesn't reach the target it means the first effort becomes a failure.

Please see my comments as voicing concern,  fingers crossed the new regime works and the club doesn't end up in trouble.
