A statement from Hoolahop that could be taken two ways. Join this forum too as other owners/directors do. Not under an assumed name .

You could read that to suggest by other directors/owners he inferred DRFC owners/directors.

Or am I the only one who saw it that way?

I saw it that way too Wellred. Which surprises me as I can't way I ever recall having seen the usernames Dick Watson, Terry Bramall, David Blunt, Stuart Highfield, Peter Wetzel, Trevor Milton, Peter Hepworth, Paul May, Mike Collett on here!

I don't think directors/owners should have to answer to faceless fans on a forum. They should however be accessible and provide answers from time to time, which I think we do quite well with the meet the owners events we have on here. I think it's probably a product of the digital age that everyone expects answers immediately, with the explosion of social media and the general 21st century fast food culture, although I can't say I agree with this. I'm quite happy to see how things pan out and, given how open with the fans JR has been in the past, I'm sure he will offer us the answers we are looking for in due course.

Precisely - also forums and social media often attract the extreme views, from those who feel strongly enough to post, therefore not representing the majority view.

Are you suggesting that other clubs directors/owners are members of the VSC forum?
