Out for 4-6 weeks now massive pressure on Theo now he's the only one I can see goals coming from especially if Forrester doesn't win his appeal.

Is an appeal being made?

We always knew that a couple of injuries and suspensions and we were up **** creek without a paddle.
Shame the owners can't.
Still, a win tomorrow and everything will be fine again

They've said they'll make signings when players get injured which is pretty much what we've done the last 2 years anyway.

I'm pretty sure Dickov said at the meet the owners night that 'we have done our transfer business and there will be no loan players coming for now' or words to that effect. Has that gone out of the window one game later??

I took that to mean that there would be no loans (yet) in addition to the current squad, however, having a contingency budget to get loans to cope with injuries as they arise is a different matter.  I'm sure that contingency was said, either at meet the owners or via VSC/club discussions?

That doesn't mean PD has changed his tune, does it?

No, it doesn't. And I really hope we do bring a couple of loans in. Or play Wellens and Quinn. Because after what I saw on Saturday, we sure need something extra

At some point we have to bite the bullet re Wellens and Quinn.. I understand why PD won't play them now, but we'd be better with them both in the side.

Sometimes you can't cross the bridge until you come to it. Theo steps up to the plate and Peterson behind him. Probably just as well it's happened earlier than later.  Any more injuries may prove a point but why spend the contingency budget until you need it?

I think we need to do it now Baz.
I don't think Peterson is good enough at the moment. Neither is Wakefiled. And after Saturday, I'm not sure about McCulloch. I could say the same about Wabara, Keegan, Furman etc but then I'd be saying the whole team is not good enough!
I have just read on the unofficial site that Dickov has said we won't be bringing anyone in yet.

Like I said, a win tonight and everything g in the garden will be rosy again.
See you later.

Barry
