Wellens playing in the position Furman has been playing as the most attacking centre mid would be quality in this system.

Furman will be the man having to look over his shoulder but tbf to him he's got the shirt after the last 2 performances.

de Val can learn a lot from Richie though. They both have similar assets. They both have great vision, passing ability and can put their fut in as well.

Apart from DeVal not being injured it's the same players we had last year lets hope we keep the formation we have been playing and they will all get some game time.

Based on what has been said in pre-season about experienced player> understudy> youth player surely it makes sense for Wellens to mentor De Val. Hope his Spanish is up to scratch!

yes your right, never looked at it like that. I agree with this formation we are getting the best out of players such as COPPS and Bennett, best I have seen the two play in many a month. keep it up

Great to see wellens and Keegan sign.
Put furman and de Val in there and it's looking good.
We all know that a fit wellens plays every minute of every game but it's vital we use his experience to turn the likes of dean furman's into better players because at the age of 26 that's were the future of the club lies
