A Few Problems in the Dynamic of the Team

I'm not a bloke for knee jerk reactions, but the time has come for Dickov to accept he has made a mistake, and give Jed the 'Bum Steer'.
At whatever level you operate at,the goalkeeper needs to be at least competent,Paul has made his first mistake in the transfer market,he needs to admit it to himself, send him back and get another keeper in.
I'm also worried about Rob Jones and whether he can last the season out,McCombe for me needs releasing, and replacing with another experienced player, the trouble is the money we pay in wages, who do we get?,for me i would go after Sean St Ledger until the end of the season with him being available on a free.

For me the sending off for kicking the ball away by Forrester, smacks of massive immaturity,it's not good enough, and i would expect a fine coming his way from the club, and a good talking to,he may have talent but he will get nowhere with an attitude problem.
When Wellens re-signed his contract normally i would have been happy, but i see a player on the slide, personally i would have looked for a younger replacement on the terms he will be on,but Paul decided he can still influence games,so with him it's wait and see when he gets a few games behind him.
The team needs a few tweaks, the keeper,a new centre half, and somebody who can control the midfield.
Today one of the toughest places to go supposedly, but i don't see them as being as good as others rate them,City's defence still can be got at,and other teams will exploit that, even though at the minute they have conceded only four, they are a play-off team for me,very dangerous going forward.

Team wise today i don't think Paul has done anything wrong, just the players on the pitch didn't perform,if i was the manager the players would be left in no doubt they are playing just to stay at the club, and you would expect a good result against Crawley.
It's very little to do with tactics, more to do with players not performing, not good enough,we need a big improvement on Tuesday night.

Crawley will do us over at the best of times and we are not in the best of times.

Hard to see us winning on Tuesday night. Really hard.

Play like we did today, and there aren't many side's we will beat,we are more than capable of beating Crawley if we perform, but there are major problems in key areas of the team that need rectifying.

Sammy, I don't know why you chose today's game to criticise Steer. For the first goal the cross went to the far post and was headed back into the middle. Not much he could do about it. The second was a clear individual error by Evina. The third was bobbling all over the place in the middle of the box as our players failed to clear it. He also made a decent save towards the end of the game from a shot on the edge of the box.

It's not just today Copps,he just doesn't look a good keeper in any of the areas you need to be at least competent, shot stopping, crosses, positioning etc.
He has shown in most games he isn't improving, that's worrying you would think being a club's number one would give him confidence, but he even seems short on that.
Centre half is a problem position, unfortunately Rob Jones doesn't seem the same player, and playing alongside him will destroy McCullough who is a decent defender.
