Who's ready for Chesterfield?!
« on September 19, 2014, 12:16:03 pm by RobSlingDog »
Could this be the game we finally win at home?!?! Personally ive got a good feeling, dont ask why!! We played our best stuff at home to a good Preston side so hopefully we'll up our game at bit and get 3 points of the board. Or I could be totally wrong and we get hammered and let Doyle get his 3rd Hat Trick in a row. Oh the joys of being a Rovers fan!  :rtid:

2-1 to the Rovers.
2 up by 30 mins before conceding in second half and hanging on.

Shame we still havent got Sam Hird to throw on for last 10 Mins just to cause some chaos at the back. He was the master at that, One thing I never understood while SOD was manager why he ever did that!

Yes but he's injured.

I'll bet Benaldo's disappointed. I'm sure he'd have been looking forward to seeing his favourite player again.

I'd sooner have Sam Hird at the back than anyone we've got now.
Yes, we did play our best football of the season (at home) against Preston, but then again with the absolute garbage that's been served up the other three games at home that wouldn't be hard would it?

Having said that, I also have a sneaky feeling we'll win tomorrow. I don't know why. We've got to win some time I guess and let's face, we can't play as bad as we've played the last couple of home games can we?

Their Spire is bent, the referee is bent. What chance have we got.

Based on this seasons past performances, Chesterfield by a cricket score.

Based on capabilities, Rovers 2 - 0.

Head says the former, heart hopes for the latter.

Although we're totally toothless up front, we have to get one sooner or later.   If we can battle it out in defence and get a stroke of luck we could scrape a 1-0.  Anything else is likely to be a defeat.
