Mike jeffrey's goals ensuring we didn't finish bottom of the league (tho I think we'd have stayed up due to the conference winners that year's ground not being up to scratch - sorry mind's a bit fuzzy so unsure of season, team beaten to last and conference winners d'oh!)

Reading in the british football weekly paper out in aus that we'd signed mcindoe - what a coup!

Watching dave mulligan shave the post with a rasper for new zealand in a world cup qualifier in adelaide v aus in 2003 - would have been the only time I'd seen a rovers player score a world cup goal had it gone in! Mulli gave me his shirt after too!

Also - standing on the km turf v blackpool last season and announcing, 'good afternoon and welcome to the keepmoat stadium for doncaster rovers' first game in the championship as reigning champions of league one.' That really was an amazing thing to do!

Definitely priceless moments!

Thanks Red. Yes. That 4-3 was the match I meant. It's a shame my Dad, and no doubt as few others, aren't with us these days. When I was a kid he used to insist, absolutely, that that comeback win over Man City was the best game he ever saw. But he was at Valley Parade that day of the 8 man win too. And you know what? I have no idea which he would have ranked the finer performance, or indeed, occasion.

I still think it's the Bradford match though :) Big crowd. Festive atmosphere. Localish rivalry. Two good sides. A Glynn thunderbolt through their wall just before half time. A mad few minutes not that long into the second half when we lost 3 players, one before he even touched the bloody ball after coming on as a sub, and then the wondrous sight of that little kid organising the most astounding defensive half hour I have ever seen. Anywhere. Any when. Bloke called Parker, on loan from Barnsley, ran himself into the ground upfront chasing everything that moved. Ian stood there outside our box organising what was pretty much a 6 man line across the pitch and egging Bradford on. Crowd going wild. Us cos the ref was clearly bent as a nine bob note. Them cos they were losing yet should be winning. And shots going wide. Dennis Peacock doing his thing. Snods clattering Stuart McCall. Just the finest match I shall ever, ever see.

This country lost a real talent when Snods got crocked. He could have been England captain.

Beating Leeds at Elland Road; beating Leeds at Wembley; that amazing night at BV when we humbled Villa; the very first time I saw my beloved Rovers play in the second tier, when we won at Derby who had just come down from the Premiership.

Amazing memories.

Hayter's goal at Wembley v Leeds ,Copps hat trick against Southend, Rovers 10 goals against Darlington at Belle Vue and so nearly beating Liverpool when Peter Kitchins last minute shot hit the bar.So many others ,over my 57 years of following Rovers .It's always like being on a roller-coaster following drfc !

Beating Daggers in our promotion season from the conference 5-1 on Sky. I'm sure it was the Daggers anyway. The first time I'd properly witnessed Rovers dish a proper beating out to anyone.
