I noticed that no Rovers Man of the Match was announced last night (unless I missed it), was that to avoid any clear embarrassment and raise further critism from the crowd?

I noticed that there was no announcement and had to sympathise with the sponsors as there was nobody who was worthy of the award.

My vote would have gone to Wellens, who was always looking to be on the offensive, but was let down by teammates who were not always on the same wavelength.

Our three most influential players are Wellens, Coppinger and Forrester and they need to play closer together to unlock stubborn defences like we saw last night.

Isn't it weird how our perceptions can alter as fans?
Personally I thought Wellens was  woeful last night - and it's about time someone had the balls to tell him to concentrate on doing his own job better first before starting to berate everyone else for his own sloppiness!

Yes, I wasn't impressed with Wellens but thought Coppinger and De Val played well. I'm others will have differing opinions.
