Has anything been said about Steers loan being extended or not? I can't make my mind up on the lad, He's made some brillant saves whilst here just think he lacks comanding his box and some of his decsion making is abit questionable. So I dont no where i stand to keep him or not, Wouldnt be the worst thing if we did but Mr Johnstone is still watching Soccer Saturday at home everyweek. But i doubt we could afford or Man Utd would want him playing League One football.

I think he'd be ideal for us.  I have no issue with Steer but SJ is better.

The person i work with said he heard something on Radio Sheff about maybe not extending it and looking at other options. SJ has to be first pick on the list if thats true.

Don't rate Steer at all, seems far to nervous when coming out for the ball and I don't think his positional sense is particularly good.

Sam Johnstone is the best keeper I have personally seen in a Rovers shirt, I would not have thought Man Utd would want him to come down to League 1 level though unfortunately!

I would think Manchester Utd would like their future star to be playing competitive football.  He'll certainly get that with us!

Last week Dickov said he was going to talk to Villa and Steer about extending his loan. Unless of course he's changed his mind after Tuesday.

Yeah thats last i heard, just person i work with said he heard different other day. He is 64 so could be hearing things
